What's most important to me:

My family is the most significant part of my life.  The family unit determines the fate of a nation because the family determines what moral views and ethics will be taught in the home and will subsequently be embraced by that nation.  If we are to have strong ethical communities, it will be due to strong ethical families.

My wife, Stacey, and I have been married nearly 43 years.  While dating, she told me she would never marry someone in the military of law enforcement service.  But for 43 years she has been my best friend and has supported me in both!  We have four sons, three daughters-in-law, and seven Grand Children.  My oldest son lives in Hurricane and works for Berry’s Bullets.  My second son lives in Cedar City and is a flight instructor for SUU Aviation.  My third son works for Awardco and lives in Eagle Mountain.  My fourth son lives in Cedar City and works for Cedar City Police Department.  I am very proud of each of them and love spending time with all my family!

Community Service:
I am a faithful member of my church and spend a great deal of my time volunteering to serve it's members, and the community through church service projects.

I am an avid Scouter and have been involved in the Scouting program since I was eleven years old.  I am currently serving on the Crossroads of the West Camp Committee, and served on the Crossroads of the West Executive Committee, Cedar Breaks District Chair, and as the Order of the Arrow (Scouting’s National Honor Society) Vigil Adviser (The Vigil is the highest honor in the Order of the Arrow).  The motto of the Order of the Arrow is “Brotherhood of Cheerful Service”.
